Discretion is part of what we do, so protecting the information entrusted to us is something we take seriously. This notice explains what personal data Global Marketing Worldwide S.A. (“GMW,” “we,” or “us”) handles, why we handle it, how we keep it safe, and the choices and rights available to you when you use gmwdr.com (the “Site”) or work with us on our call-center and marketing services (the “Services”).
By using the Site or our Services, you confirm that you have read and understood this notice.
Controller and processor. For information you share with us directly — for instance through the Site or a conversation about working together — GMW is the “controller” and decides how it is used. For information we handle as part of a campaign we run for a client, GMW acts only as a “processor”: we follow the client’s instructions and the terms of our agreement, and the client remains the controller. If you were contacted through one of those campaigns, reach out and we will route your request to the right place (see “Your choices and rights” below).
We work with three broad kinds of information:
Depending on the situation, we use personal data to:
Where the law requires a lawful basis to process personal data (for example, under the EU or UK GDPR), we rely on your consent, the need to take steps or perform a contract with you, our legitimate business interests weighed against your rights, or compliance with a legal obligation.
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies — some essential for it to function, others to measure performance or remember your preferences. Your browser lets you refuse or delete cookies, though some parts of the Site may not behave as expected if you do.
We never sell personal data. We disclose it only where we genuinely need to:
Calls made through our Services may be recorded or monitored for quality, training, verification and compliance purposes. Where the law requires it, you will be told at the start of the call and asked for your consent. Recordings are kept confidential and retained no longer than necessary.
We hold personal data only for as long as the purpose — or the law — requires, and then delete or anonymise it. Data we handle for a client is kept according to that client’s instructions and our agreement with them.
Confidentiality is central to how we operate. We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. That said, no online service can promise perfect security, and we cannot guarantee it absolutely.
Subject to your location and the applicable law, you may ask us to:
You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection regulator. To make a request, email contact@gmwdr.com and we will respond within the period the law allows. If your request concerns a client campaign, we will forward it to that client (the controller) or act on their instructions.
Individuals in the Dominican Republic are protected by Law No. 172-13 on the Protection of Personal Data. Depending on where you are, you may also have rights under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
You can leave our marketing list at any time through the unsubscribe link in our emails or by emailing contact@gmwdr.com. Even after you opt out, we may still send you service messages tied to an enquiry or an active engagement.
We operate from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and your data may be processed there or wherever our suppliers operate. Whenever data crosses borders, we take steps to keep it protected to the standard described in this notice.
Our Site and Services are intended for businesses and adults, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, please tell us and we will put it right.
Links from our Site to other services are outside our control and are not covered by this notice. We encourage you to review their own privacy practices.
We may revise this notice as our practices, technology or the law evolve, and will update the date shown above when we do. Where a change is significant, we will highlight it as appropriate. Please check back from time to time.
